Safe Shores (Cont.)

provide comprehensive and tailored services that help children, youth and families become confident and self-sufficient, overcoming the impact of trauma and poverty.  NCCF serves as the District of Columbia’s Child and Family Services’ (CFSA) primary private provider partner of foster care services to hundreds of DC children and youth placed in care in Maryland. NCCF responsibly provides safe, thriving, permanent families for children who experience temporary care outside of the home due to the challenges their families face in adequately supporting them. In addition,  NCCF serves homeless families in the District through its Short-term Family Housing and Permanent Supportive Housing Programs
